Candy Thief risking life

- An American petty faces a life sentence for the steal of $ 31 on candy. Jacobia Grimes is on trial in the US city of New Orleans (Louisiana), where 'offenders' are severely punished.

Grimes stuffed his pockets full of chocolate bars and was caught in the act last December. It was not the first time that the American was guilty of shoplifting. That makes him according to the law in the US state of Louisiana a repeat offender.
