UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has initiated discussions with President Volodymyr Zelensky in preparation for the upcoming Ukraine-themed summit. Zelensky, who is set to attend the summit in London hosted by Starmer tomorrow, arrived at Number 10 Downing Street to meet with the Prime Minister. The two leaders shook hands in front of the press before heading into Number 10 Downing Street for their meeting.

As part of Zelensky's visit to the UK, meetings with Prince Charles are also anticipated. The meeting was arranged at the request of the British government.

In a previous meeting at the White House, a heated discussion between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky led to the cancellation of a planned joint press conference. Following the disagreement, Zelensky departed from the White House.

During the debate, Trump criticized Zelensky's position while Zelensky expressed expectations for support for his country. Consequently, the agreement on rare earth elements was not signed.

After the intense discussion in the Oval Office, President Trump claimed on his Truth Social account that Zelensky was not yet ready for peace. In an interview with Fox News, Zelensky stated that he did not believe he had done anything wrong that warranted an apology to Trump.
