Ex-Royal Marine Commando Suspected in Liverpool Horror Crash

The 53-year-old man involved in the horror crash during Liverpool's victory parade is identified as a former British Royal Marine commando, now a businessman.

Commando Turned Businessman

Reports reveal that the suspect, Paul Doyle, previously served as a commando in the British Royal Marines before leading a now-defunct company.

Chaos at the Parade

According to a friend, Doyle panicked as Liverpool fans surrounded his car, opening the door and grabbing him by the throat, leading him to try to exit the vehicle in a state of panic.

Memory Loss

After the incident, Doyle, a father of three, reportedly experienced memory loss and could not recall the events, even calling his wife to explain the situation before suffering from memory loss.

Investigation and Charges

Doyle is accused of driving into a group of celebrants in Liverpool city center at the end of the massive Liverpool FC title celebration. Investigations are ongoing, and he is set to appear in court on Friday.

Injuries and Impact

The chaotic crash left 70 people injured, with 50 hospitalized, including a nine-year-old, during the celebration of Liverpool's league title.
