Kim Kardashian's Traumatic Robbery: 'Rover Grandpas' on Trial

A group of elderly suspects, known as 'rover grandpas', are finally facing trial in Paris for the traumatic robbery of Kim Kardashian at a luxury hotel, where she was held at gunpoint and robbed of a 9 million euro haul.

The Robbery Incident

The robbery took place at the exclusive No Address hotel where Kardashian was staying for privacy. Masked men stormed in, one pointing a gun at her, demanding her jewelry and money. Kardashian feared for her life as she was tied up and gagged during the ordeal.

Legal Proceedings and Investigation

Security footage and DNA evidence led investigators to the main suspect, Aomar Aït Khedache, also known as 'Omar the Old', who was on the run since 2010. Several alleged accomplices were arrested months later. Only a necklace from the stolen items was recovered.

Upcoming Testimony and Verdict

Kim Kardashian is set to testify on May 13 in court. The verdict is expected on May 23, with partial recovery of the stolen goods and significant cash seizures from the suspects in Belgium.
