Belgian king Paola leaves hospital

- The Belgian Queen Paola on Friday left the hospital in Brussels. The mother of King Philip must continue rehabilitation at home.

Last month, Paola broke her hip from a fall in her house, castle Belvedere. The 79-year-old queen was subsequently operated on 17 February and spent three weeks in the hospital Saint-Luc. The surgery and subsequent recovery went well so they can go home.

It was the second time within a short time Paola ended up in the hospital. Around New Year, she was already a week treated for a werverfractuur she had suffered a fall.
