nashville - The 1-year old Katera was recently recently adopted by the couple Matt and Jenny Barker. The girl died after being locked up in a blood-hot car for more than 10 hours. Her new parents had forgotten her.

The day that Katera died was about 31 degrees in the American city of Nashville. Matt was in a hurry and brought the girl along with his other daughter (5) to the daycare, drove home and left for business.

In the afternoon mother Jenny got her daughters from the nursery. Once there, it appeared that the 1-year-old Katera had not been brought that morning. Fox News reports.

After a phone call with her husband, it turned out that he had forgotten the girl. Katera was still in the child seat in her father's car, more than 10 hours later.

Jenny has made another attempt to resuscitate the girl, but this was in vain. The couple fully cooperates with the police investigation.
