Apple shipped more than half smart watches'

- Of all smart watches that were shipped in 2015 throughout the world, more than half (51.5 percent) from Apple. That is according to Mashable in a report published Tuesday by research firm Juniper Research.

         In total, according to the report, worldwide more than 17 million smart watches shipped, of which approximately 8.8 million Apple Watches. According to Mashable, the number of shipped watches do not necessarily match the number of smart watches that Apple sold in 2015.
Smart Watches with Android as the operating system would only account for 10 percent of all shipped watches. In July, Strategy Analytics reported that Apple was currently account for 75 percent of all shipped smart watches.
