American will found bomb in plane as a souvenir

- An American tourist has caused considerable commotion at an airport in Vienna, by taking a non-exploded bomb from the Second World War out of her bag at customs. The 24-year-old lady wanted to know if she could take the bomb as a souvenir. The answer could not have been clearer...

When the customs officers realized that the woman was carrying a bomb, they made a big alarm. According to Deutsche Welle the environment of the customs was immediately evacuated and bomb experts were rushed to the airport. They took the bomb. What happened to the bomb after that is still unclear. He may have been detonated elsewhere.

The woman had found the bomb during a walk according to authorities. She had taken him to her hotel room and cleaned the thing there, so that her clothes would not get dirty during the journey.

According to the police, travelers have not been in danger. Yet the woman gets a hefty fine of 5000 euros for negligence.
