Paris Saint-Germain Secures Illia Zabarnyi from Bournemouth

French football giants, Paris Saint-Germain, have officially announced the acquisition of Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi in a transfer deal worth up to £57.1 million. This move comes as PSG's latest defensive reinforcement, following a series of major departures from Bournemouth.

Zabarnyi's Successful Stint at Bournemouth

Illia Zabarnyi, the Ukraine international, enjoyed a fruitful one and-a-half year spell at the Vitality Stadium, making 36 appearances and contributing significantly to Bournemouth's record Premier League points tally of 56.

Key Departures from Bournemouth

Zabarnyi's transfer marks Bournemouth's fourth major defensive sale this summer, with Dean Huijsen joining Real Madrid, Milos Kerkez moving to Liverpool, and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga's transfer to Arsenal.

International Experience

The talented defender, who has earned 49 caps for the Ukrainian national team, including appearances at Euro 2024, is set to bring his expertise and skill to PSG's backline.
