- US Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff, to visit Israel to discuss the second stage of ceasefire in Gaza amid ongoing attacks by Israeli army in the north of the West Bank.

US Envoy to Discuss Ceasefire Continuation in Israel

US Special Envoy for Middle East, Steve Witkoff, will visit Israel to discuss the continuation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The envoy will be meeting with Tel Aviv officials to negotiate the second stage of the ceasefire amidst the escalating tensions in the region.

Humanitarian Aid Continues to Enter Gaza

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that humanitarian aid trucks continue to enter Gaza through various border crossings. On the fifth day of the ceasefire, a total of 653 aid trucks entered the region, providing much-needed assistance to the residents. The aid mainly consists of food supplies, with plans to send more medical supplies, shelter materials, water, sanitation, and hygiene products in the coming days.

Efforts to Assist Injured Palestinians

The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that their teams intervened to assist 2 individuals injured by Israeli soldiers' bullets in Jenin, and provided aid to 3 Palestinians heavily beaten by soldiers at the El-Jalame military checkpoint near Jenin. The conditions of the injured were not disclosed.

International Condemnation on Israeli Attacks in West Bank

Egypt, Iraq, Qatar, and the UAE condemned Israel's ongoing attacks in the West Bank city of Jenin, calling for accountability for the crimes committed against the Palestinian people.
