21 arrested after suicide attack Turkey

- The Turkish authorities in response to the suicide bombing in Ankara last week arrested 21 suspects. That state news agency Anadolu reported Sunday. Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier this week fourteen suspects arrested.

The attack, which took the lives of 28 people, was claimed by the Kurdish militant group TAK (Kurdistan Freedom Falcons), an offshoot of the Kurdish separatist PKK. The group said Friday that the attack was retaliation for the policies of Erdogan.

The Turkish government showed earlier in the week with the finger at the YPG, the Kurdish militias in Syria. However, the claim of the TAK has not changed the position of the Turkish government. Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Saturday that the TAK is an extension of the YPG and the PKK.

The YPG called the accusations addressed to them a pretext for an invasion by Turkey in northern Syria.
