los angeles - Residents affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles have filed a lawsuit against the energy company Edison for allegedly causing the fires. The blaze has devastated hectares of land and forced thousands of people to evacuate.

Residents impacted by the wildfires in the vicinity of Los Angeles have taken legal action against the energy corporation Edison, as reported by Bloomberg. They suspect that an electricity pole belonging to Edison sparked the blaze in Altadena.

The lawsuit was initiated by homeowners, tenants, store owners, and others whose properties were ravaged by the fire known as the Eaton Fire, spanning over 5700 hectares. Authorities in LA have managed to contain 33% of the fire.

Additionally, multiple wildfires have erupted in other areas surrounding the Western US metropolis. Over 150,000 individuals have been displaced from their homes, with a death toll of at least 24 people.
