Motorist sign after death ride cyclist

dokkum - A cyclist is Monday morning in Dokkum deceased after a collision with a car. The driver took off, police reported on Twitter.

Police in Northern Friesland started a search for the driver. Thereby Burgernet was deployed, allowing people in the area were asked to look for the runaway car. Not much later, the driver presented himself at the police station in Dokkum.

The police are currently investigating the accident.
