The deceased President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov is Saturday buried in a grave in his hometown of Samarkand. The ceremony took place in front of several thousand people, including some foreign leaders.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov (78) is deceased according to diplomats and the Turkish government, who could know, but the leadership remains silent in Tashkent as the grave.
