ukraine - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has shared a video of a captured North Korean soldier on social media, emphasizing the need for truth and awareness in international conflicts.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has recently made a significant announcement regarding the situation of the injured North Korean soldiers captured in the Kursk region of Russia.

Sharing a video on social media platform X, Zelensky stated that communication between the captured North Korean soldiers and Ukrainian investigators is ongoing, with efforts to uncover the truth and verify all details.

Accusing Russia of exploiting the North Korean soldiers for their own interests, Zelensky highlighted the importance of the world witnessing the reality of how Russia manipulates individuals, unaware and uninformed about Ukraine, to prolong and escalate conflicts.

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to all Ukrainian soldiers defending their country and to those supporting Ukraine. He also mentioned that if North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un organizes a swap for the Ukrainian soldiers detained in Russia, Ukraine is willing to return the North Korean soldiers to their homeland.

Earlier, President Zelensky had disclosed that two North Korean soldiers were captured in the ongoing clashes in the Kursk region of Russia. The Ukrainian Security Service confirmed that the wounded soldiers received necessary medical assistance and were out of critical condition. It was noted that one of the captured soldiers mistakenly believed he was in Russia for education, not for combat against Ukraine.
