tallinn - The 700 worst drivers in Estonia have received a black Christmas card from the police showing images of heavy car accidents. The authorities hope to make the brookers more aware of the dangers of their driving behavior.
The worst road pirates from the Eastern European country received the card this week. The 'gift' went to drivers who were caught five times or more during the past year for speeding or driving under the influence.
In Estonia, with a population of only 1.5 million people, 40 road fatalities and 1,300 injuries occurred last year. Ten years ago there were still about 200 traffic deaths per year.
