Arsenal Signs Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea

Arsenal has officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea. The 30-year-old player emerged as a top target for Mikel Arteta to serve as a back-up to the current No.1, David Raya.

Kepa's Recent Career

Kepa spent the last two seasons on loan at Real Madrid and AFC Bournemouth. During his loan spell at Bournemouth, he kept nine clean sheets in 35 games, contributing to the club's strong defensive record in the 2024-25 Premier League season.

Transfer Details

Originally joining Chelsea in 2018 for a record €80 million deal, Kepa made history as the world's most expensive goalkeeper. He won multiple prestigious titles during his time at Stamford Bridge, including the Champions League and Europa League.

The Spanish goalkeeper expressed gratitude to Chelsea fans in an Instagram post, acknowledging the club as his home and family.
