seattle - A passenger of Alaska Airlines in Seattle couldn't wait to exit the airplane after landing and took matters into her own hands by opening the emergency door and climbing onto the wing.

The flight from Milwaukee to Seattle lasted about 4.5 hours. Around 5:00 pm, the first passengers were able to disembark. However, a frustrated passenger decided to cause a scene. "She became increasingly restless," said a spokesperson for Seattle airport to the US news channel KIRO 7. "At one point, she opened the emergency door and climbed onto one of the wings of the aircraft."

The woman was quickly removed from the wing by the fire department. A crisis team from the police determined that she needed to undergo a medical evaluation at the hospital. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. "We want to understand how this exactly could have happened," continued the spokesperson. "We thank our staff for their quick response and apologize to the other passengers."
