new york - A woman manages to hop from toilet to toilet in an attempt to fly for free from New York to Paris, causing concerns among fellow passengers.

The woman, who did not have a boarding pass, managed to pass through the security checks of Delta Flight 264 in New York twice without any issues, as reported by NBC. It was only upon landing in France that the other passengers on the Boeing 767-400 were informed of a 'security issue'. The pilot announced that there was an 'extra passenger' on board the crowded flight with 375 passengers.

According to aviation site Viewfromthewing, the woman did not take a seat. Instead, she was already in the toilet at take-off. Throughout the ocean journey, she kept moving back and forth between the four toilets on board, locking herself in for long periods each time. This behavior raised suspicions among fellow passengers who initially thought she might be ill. Just before landing, her lack of a boarding pass was discovered. The French gendarme escorted her off the plane.

Authorities suspect that she must have received help in New York to bypass the 'gates'. Delta Airlines issued a statement, emphasizing that 'nothing is more important than a safe flight'. The airline, in coordination with the police, is reviewing all surveillance footage to determine the sequence of events. No further details about the woman have been disclosed.
