Woman dumps sick dog at grooming salon

massachusetts - The police in the American city of Massachusetts is looking for a woman who, through the use of a fake name, has dumped her sick dog at a grooming salon.

The woman, who called herself Melanie Wichester, brought her English bulldog to the groomer for a haircut last week, to leave him to his fate and not to pick it up again.

An animal rights organization from the same city is now looking in cooperation with the police for the woman who dumped the dog. This is how the Daily Mail reports.

The dog, who according to the woman listens to the name William Katz, suffered from ulcers and such a severe ear infection that the vet advises to operate the beast. It is not clear why the woman has dumped the dog. Possible to avoid the high costs of the vet.

The police said that the name 'Melanie' gave up was not correct. The camera images from the salon have now been released.

Bulldog William is still in the salon, but will soon be transferred to the Long Island Bulldog Rescue shelter. There the dog will be treated to his infections and later given up for adoption.
