Controversy Surrounding Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy, popular among athletes for reducing muscle injuries, has raised safety concerns in the past. A similar incident resulted in a fatality in Los Angeles in 2015.
The European Industrial Gases Association had previously warned about the risks associated with cryotherapy in 2018.
