Woman cut unborn child out of body

boulder - A jury in Boulder in the US state of Colorado has convicted a 36-year-old woman of murder because an unborn child was cut from the abdomen with another woman. The baby did not survive, the mother was seriously injured but survived.

The offender hangs a sentence of at least sixteen years to life overhead. The court determines the sentence on April 29, he announced Wednesday along.

The 36-year-old woman lured the 27-year-old pregnant woman at her home, put it on her and tried to strangle her. Finally they cut the seven-month-old fetus from the body of the victim. In her action she drove the child to a hospital where she was told that it was her baby.

The offender himself has two daughters and in 2002 lost her nineteen month old son by accident.
