kuala lumpur - The Malaysian priest Lim Ba has been tragically killed by a ritual with a huge wokpan filled with glowing hot steam.

The 68-year-old was in the wok during the ceremony on a wooden platform. After more than half an hour, fans hung on the heavy lid. Lim Ba was detected unconsciously and with burns. He died on the spot as a result of a heart attack.

Limba did not do the stunt for the first time. He had more than 10 years of experience with the steam rituals, where he was cooked in the kettle next to him as food and bread rolls.

His family had recently warned him to look out for the stunts. Earlier this year he underwent another cardiac surgery. 'My father was undergoing a hard heart surgery last year. But I did not expect this to be his last ceremony, 'said his son, Lim Kang Huai.

Rituals with heavy physical trials are regularly held at festivals in the culture of various Malaysia. So walking along a path is also very popular. A quarter of the Malaysian population has a Chinese background, usually followers of Buddhism or Taoism.
