washington - The White House has stated that the mysterious drones spotted by Americans are completely legal and pose no threat to public safety.

The White House has emphasized that the mysterious drones seen by Americans are completely legal and lawful. There is no reason for concern, stated the White House security advisor, John Kirby, during a press conference.

The drones in question were observed by citizens in the state of New Jersey and later in New York. They were reported to be flying above critical infrastructure such as water reservoirs, power lines, train stations, police stations, and military installations, sparking numerous conspiracy theories.

"No anomalies have been detected, and there is no risk to public safety in New Jersey or other states in the northeast," explained Kirby. According to him, the sightings causing concern are "a combination of commercial drones, hobbyists, law enforcement drones, manned aircraft, and even stars mistakenly reported as drones."

Kirby stated that the FBI received over 5000 tips in recent weeks, none of which revealed any concerning situation.

On Monday, Trump claimed, without providing evidence, that the US military knew where the drones originated. "For some reason, they don't want to talk about it," Trump told reporters. The White House asserts that there is no foreign threat behind the alleged drones.

The controversy is reminiscent of the wave of UFO reports in the United States at the height of the Cold War.
