Wettest June ever in Limburg and Brabant

- It was the wettest June ever for South Limburg and Brabant. According to weather office WeerOnline has never fallen so much rain in these parts of the Netherlands in this period. In total, fell this month in many places 150 to 180 millimeters.

Limburg Arcen, where a measuring station of the KNMI state, is the wettest with 193 mm. The old record of 175.6 millimeters in 1998 is thus broken. The next week could still fall some precipitation and the record will be even sharper.

When heavy rain Thursday evening and in the night from Thursday to Friday was between 30 and 60 millimeters of rain. The fire in Limburg and Brabant had their hands full here. There were hundreds of calls from people who suffered from flooding. Also flew home from lightning in Weert on fire.
