Way free for Xi Jinping to remain unlimited in power

beijing - The Chinese National People's Congress has approved a constitutional amendment that allows a president to stay more than two five-year terms. This measure paves the way for President Xi Jinping to remain in power indefinitely.

At the annual conference, the nearly 3000 delegates have cast their vote on Sunday in the Great Hall of the People's Party. Two members voted against the amendment of the law and there were three abstentions.
