Warning of fog in morning rush hour

- People on the road need to keep Sunday and Monday night to take account of dense fog. Also in the morning can be a nuisance, the VID warns.

The KNMI Sunday issued code yellow for the provinces of South Holland, Utrecht, Overijssel and Drenthe.

Local visibility is already fallen to below 200 meters. The expectation is that the fog banks themselves will expand and compress. That can especially in the middle east and affect the morning rush hour, according to the VID. If the lanes on the A1 (Barneveld) and A50 (Apeldoorn) remain closed, can extra-long traffic jams may result.
