The Belgian TV presenter was seriously injured in a car accident in Antwerp on Friday night. Waes, known for his roles in Undercover and Reizen Waes, crashed his vintage Porsche into a road sign indicating roadworks near the Kennedytunnel.

Earlier reports suggested that Waes had to be resuscitated, but his family clarified that this was not the case. They emphasized that his focus is now on recovering from the accident and requested privacy during this time. Waes will undergo further examinations in the coming days to assess for any possible fractures.
