Firework attacks were launched in the districts of Amsterdam and Poelenburg, with fires breaking out in various locations. Roads in the Poelenburg area of Zaandam were blocked with debris from burnt materials, while residential homes were targeted with firework projectiles.

Firefighting teams were called in to extinguish multiple fires, facing challenges with recurring incidents. In Amsterdam's Dam Square, police apprehended several individuals who were launching firework projectiles at shops and pedestrians.

The incidents persisted throughout the night, prompting security forces to make intensive efforts to restore order and ensure public safety.
