Video streaming in German trains

- German intercity trains will itself offer video streaming via the ondemand service Maxdome. The servers sit in the train itself, so travelers do not have data connection to use to watch movies and series.

The service is available from the end of this year, Deutsche Bahn reported Tuesday. Customers can see a thousand comedies, action films and animated series. Travelers without a subscription can enjoy about fifty movies and series on their laptop, smartphone or tablet.
