cabul - In a suicide attack on a NATO convoy in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar, victims have fallen. That reported NATO mission Resolute Support Wednesday in a Twitter message. The brief statement did not tell if there were killed or injured soldiers, how many victims there are or from which country they are coming.
The Afghan channel 1TV had previously reported on anonymous sources that it was about an American convoy. The explosion occurred in Daman district near the provincial capital.
The radical-Islamic Taliban has claimed the act via Twitter. The attack was aimed at foreign troops near a base of Afghan security service, according to the tweet.
