She had noticed that the disadvantage of existing devices is the loud sound. 'The vibration motors reach a level of 40 to 50 decibels', explains Ryssel. That is about as hard as a shaver and not exactly sexy in bed.

So-called intelligent materials, which are also used in the room with the solar panel of the Rosetta room probe, make electric motors redundant but still provide a pulsating movement.
