US troops liberate hostages in Iraq

- US special forces have freed during the night of Wednesday to Thursday Kurds who were held hostage in Iraq. In addition, an American soldier was to be killed.
This was reported by CNN on the basis of statements by US officials. There were seventy Kurds are liberated by the action. Who were the hostage takers, is not clear.
