US is still thinking about Syria

washington - US President Donald Trump discussed the situation around Syria on Thursday with his national security team. In that conversation, no decision has yet been taken about possible retaliatory actions against Syria, according to the White House.

'We continue to review information and are in contact with our partners and allies,' said a statement. Trump would contact the French president Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Theresa May later on Thursday.

Trump is considering steps following the alleged poison gas attack on the Syrian city of Douma last weekend causing dozens of people to die.
