'US have blood samples with chemical weapons from Syria'

washington - The intelligence services of the United States have blood and urine samples that have tested positive for chemical weapons. That writes news channel MSNBC on the basis of two well-informed sources.

The samples would contain traces of chlorine gas as well as of another, unspecified poison gas. The sources can not guarantee their story with one hundred percent certainty, but say they trust their information.

According to Donald Trump, President Assad is behind the attack. Syria and ally Russia deny that. An employee from Russia said that the poison gas attack has been staged to provoke an 'international reaction'.

The OPWC will soon send international observers to Syria and has the authority to determine whether poison gas has been used. The OPWC can not answer the question of guilt.
