The US Department of State announced on Friday the approval of a major arms sale to Israel, including thousands of bombs and missiles. The shipment, valued at $7.4 billion, consists of 2,166 GBU-39/B bombs, 2,800 MK 82 bombs, 3,000 Hellfire missiles, 17,479 bomb guidance kits, and 17,475 electronic bomb fuses.
Last week, the Trump administration lifted the ban on the shipment of 900-kilogram bombs, which had been embargoed by the Biden administration.
