damascus - The United States has announced that they killed 37 terrorists in two attacks in Syria, including top members of Islamic State (IS) and Hurras al-Din, a group linked to Al Qaeda.

The United States claims to have killed 37 terrorists in Syria in two separate attacks. The American CENTCOM command center stated that among the deceased were high-ranking members of Islamic State (IS) and Hurras al-Din, a group associated with Al Qaeda. According to CENTCOM, these airstrikes are part of their ongoing effort, in collaboration with regional partners, to prevent terrorists from planning and carrying out attacks against civilians, American military personnel, and Western interests.

On September 16, the Americans reportedly conducted a major airstrike on an IS training center, resulting in 28 deaths. The second attack took place on Tuesday in northwestern Syria, where nine people, including Marwan Bassam ’Abd-al-Ra’uf, one of the leaders of Hurras al-Din, were reportedly killed. The US authorities stated that there is no evidence of civilian casualties resulting from these attacks.
