- Reports claim the US administration under President Donald Trump has halted new arms sales to Ukraine amid disagreements.

US Halts Arms Sales to Ukraine

American officials, speaking to the Wall Street Journal, suggest that the Trump administration has stopped new arms sales to Ukraine and plans to suspend shipments from military stocks.

The unnamed officials allege that the US administration has halted new arms sales to Ukraine and plans to suspend shipments from military stocks.

They state that this decision threatens Ukraine's ability to fight against the Russian army.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reportedly signed a document exempting Ukraine from the foreign aid ban imposed by Trump in recent weeks, but the document was not forwarded to the US Department of Defense.

Officials emphasize that the halt in arms sales financing began before the debate at the White House.

If the decision to halt arms shipments continues, Ukraine is predicted to lose access to some sophisticated weapons.
