UN: ethnic cleansing in South Sudan

geneva - In parts of southern Sudan are committed ethnic cleansing reminiscent of the Rwandan genocide of 1994. The purges are conducted under, inter alia, to starve people by burning villages and widespread rape.
This is the head of the Human Rights Commission of the United Nations visited the country, Yasmin Sooka, said Thursday in Geneva.
