ukraine - Ukraine's President Zelensky expressed concerns over survival chances without US military support in an interview with NBC News.

Ukraine's President Zelensky on US Support

During an interview with NBC News, President Zelensky highlighted the crucial role of US military support for Ukraine's survival, especially in the face of Russian aggression.

Zelensky emphasized that without US assistance, Ukraine would find it extremely challenging to resist Russian occupation both currently and post-war. He stated, 'It will probably be very, very, very difficult, and of course, in all difficult situations, you have a chance. But our chances of survival without US support are very low. I think this is crucial. I don't want to think about fighting against Russia without American support. I don't want to think that we won't be strategic partners.'

He also warned that if the US does not continue its military aid, Ukraine could face another major Russian attack in the future. Zelensky pointed out that Russian President Putin is not coming to the negotiation table to end the war but rather to secure a ceasefire agreement that would allow Russia to lift some international sanctions and rebuild its military.

Zelensky concluded by stating, 'This is what he really wants. He wants a ceasefire to pause, rearm, retrain, and lift some sanctions.'

The full interview is set to be released tomorrow.
