During the meeting with French President Macron at the White House, US President Trump revealed plans to sign a valuable minerals agreement with Ukraine soon. Trump mentioned that Ukrainian President Zelensky will visit the White House this or next week to finalize the deal. Macron also expressed readiness to provide security guarantees to Ukraine in case of a ceasefire.
Putin Offers Cooperation in Rare Earth Elements
Meanwhile, Russian President Putin proposed cooperation with the US in the field of rare earth elements during Macron and Trump's meeting at the White House. Zelensky also attended the G7 leaders summit, where he addressed the leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK, and US via video conference.
