ukraine - Recent attacks on Russian territory by Ukraine's military have caused significant damage to fuel depots, impacting Russian military operations.

Ukraine Targets Russia with Attacks on Fuel Depots

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has achieved success with recent attacks on Russian territory. The Russian defense ministry shot down six drones over Voronezh, causing a fire at a local fuel depot. Ukrainian forces are hitting multiple fuel tanks, resulting in significant damage. The attacks on Russian fuel depots are impacting not only the military operations but also the economy of the country. Russia has been unable to process over 41.1 million tons of oil due to Ukrainian drone strikes in 2024, affecting 12% of the country's total oil production capacity. Despite calls for a peace deal by former US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin shows no sign of compliance. This has led to a continued escalation of Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil infrastructure.
