Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal stated that Ukraine will not sign any agreement without security guarantees related to the country's resources.

Shmyhal highlighted the need for the agreement to directly address Ukraine's security concerns, mentioning the final draft of the deal with the US on investments in Ukraine's mineral resources.

The draft agreement, named 'Establishment of Investment Fund Rules and Conditions for Ukraine's Reconstruction,' includes a clause supporting efforts to obtain necessary security guarantees for lasting peace in Ukraine.

Shmyhal made it clear that both the Ukrainian President and government will not consider the agreement and its signing independently of security guarantees for Ukraine.
