Two years in prison for eating banana

cairo - A female singer from Egypt has to stay in the cell for two years because she eats a banana in a clip.

The 25-year-old Shaimaa Ahmed would use the images to provoke fornication, according to the judge. The singer also has to pay 10 000 Egyptian pounds (almost 500 euros) fine. The creator of the clip receives the same punishment.

Singer Shyma (her stage name) was caught last month after a complaint about the clip 'Andy Zoroof' (I have problems). In the video we see her teaching a class full of young men. She eats a banana, an apple and chips in a suggestive way. Shyma is also regularly seen in lingerie.

She has tried to apologize on Facebook, but the excitement about the clip was too big in Eypte.
