Two deaths from cracking fireworks in Germany

potsdam - Two men aged 35 and 19 were killed in the German state of Brandenburg during the New Year's Eve.

The police in the eastern state reported Monday that the 35-year-old man suffered serious injuries when lighting fireworks in Gusow-Platkow. He received first aid, but that was in vain. He died on the spot from his injuries.

The 19-year-old man died while lighting up homemade fireworks in Kleinmachnow.
