shanghai - Chinese rescue workers have recovered two deaths from the still on fire Iranian oil tanker Sanchi, who flew on fire last Saturday after a collision with a cargo ship.

It is still very difficult for rescuers because of the large amount of smoke and a temperature on board of ninety degrees to get on the rudderless vessel. The lifeless bodies were found on the deck of the tanker, where four rescue men succeeded briefly on board. They also managed to find the black box of the ship.

Thirty more people are missing. the rescue team failed to reach the staff accommodations on the ship. It is expected that most of the missing people are there. Earlier this week the body of a crew member was found.

Explosions continue to occur on the ship. This makes it difficult to extinguish, in combination with the strong wind. The Chinese also fear that the ship breaks and sinks in two.
