In Rhodes, a popular tourist destination, the storm damaged roads, houses, and other buildings overnight. Local authorities reported dozens of evacuations.

Storm Bora made landfall in Greece on Saturday and is expected to bring heavy snowfall to the north and northwest. On Saturday, the civil protection department issued a state of emergency warning of heavy rainfall and strong winds in multiple areas, including the region around Athens.
