' Turkish prosecutor flight to the Netherlands '
- A leading prosecutor in Turkey has fled to the Netherlands. The Turkish media reported on Tuesday prosecutor Fikret Seçen. Tuesday, November 24th, he was put out of his office and has reportedly taken the same day, another flight from Ankara to Amsterdam, shortly before his traveling would be banned.
Seçen was put out of the office because,null, forgery, disappear or withhold '' ' official documents,null, and the discredit of the profession ". He was known as a prosecutor of the Ergenekon case, which accused among others, soldiers and journalists of preparing a coup.
The ruling AK Party of President Erdogan attracted the Ergenekon process along with the Gülen movement, strongly represented in the judiciary, to have common enemies behind bars. In the Ergenekon case Seçen replaced the magistrate Zekeriya Ӧz last summer fled to Germany. Since 2013, the former allies AK Gülen and fought each other and the government fights the progressive Islamist movement of Fethullah Gülen.
