Turkey and Pakistan Conduct Joint Ataturk Exercise

In Pakistan, a joint military exercise involving Commando and Special Forces units was held. The exercise, alternately conducted in Turkey as CINNAH Exercise and in Pakistan as ATATURK Exercise since 1998, is aimed at sharing information and experiences between the two countries' commando and special forces units.

The Turkey-Pakistan Joint Commando and Special Forces Exercise (ATATURK-XIII-2025) started on February 10 in Pakistan and will conclude tomorrow. The Distinguished Observer Day of the exercise was held today in Cherat, where ground and air elements successfully destroyed designated targets.

According to the Pakistan Armed Forces, the exercise involves two combat teams from the Pakistan Special Forces and 36 soldiers of all ranks from the Turkish Armed Forces. The statement highlighted that the participating units greatly benefited from the exercise, aiming to enhance the professional military capabilities through joint training.

Since 1998, the joint exercise alternates between Turkey, known as the 'CINNAH Exercise,' and Pakistan, known as the 'ATATURK Exercise,' focusing on developing professional military skills through mutual training.
