washington - President-elect Donald Trump is expected to select Linda McMahon as the Secretary of Education and Dr. Oz to lead healthcare programs for seniors, disabled, and low-income individuals.

Linda McMahon, a 76-year-old former professional wrestler, co-founded Titan Sports, which later became World Wrestling Entertainment. She also served as the director of the Small Business Administration during Trump's presidency.

McMahon is a member of Trump's transition team, working on the formation of his cabinet.

Trump also announced his choice of Dr. Mehmet Oz to lead national healthcare programs Medicare and Medicaid. Dr. Oz, known for 'The Dr. Oz Show,' ran for senator in 2022 with Trump's support but was unsuccessful.

If appointed, Dr. Oz will collaborate with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nominated to lead the Department of Health. Both appointments require Senate confirmation.

This is not the first time Trump has nominated TV personalities for high-ranking positions, as he previously chose Fox News host Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense.
